A key objective of the DGMT working group micropollutants is to clarify the possibilities and limitations of the membrane technology for the removal of micropollutants, microplastics and bacteria.

The aim of the group of 16 representatives from industry and research is to broaden the knowledge base to demonstrate the potential of the use of the membrane technology through its application in waste water treatment plants. Representatives from politics, water industry and academia should be addressed to raise the awareness for membrane technology and for the technology to be considered as an additional treatment option for the waste water treatment plant process.

Congress language: German / simultaneous translation into English will be provided.
